Global Bank Ltd (GBL) has posted Rs 32.8 million operating profit during the first half of the current fiscal year 2007-08. The bank mobilised deposits of over Rs 4.39 billion and disbursed loans and advances of over Rs 3.93 billion during the period. “It made the profits from interests of loans, fees, commission, foreign exchange and other banking activities,” states a press note. It had posted Rs 19.51 million operating profit in first quarter.
