Everest bank
Ltd today
announced the opening of an
ATM counter at Apex College, Baneshwor. The ATM was
inaugurated by Dr Minendra
Rijal, chairman of Apex
College. According to an EBL
press release, while the
Apex College ATM accepts SCT
card of any bank with a
nominal charge of Rs 25 per
transaction, EBL customers
can avail this facility for
free. The ATM also accepts
Master and Visa cards of any
bank across the globe for a
nominal charge. EBL now has
seven ATMs located at New
Road, New Baneshwor,
Lazimpat, Pulchowk,
Tribhuvan International
Airport, Balaju and Apex
College. At the inaugural
function, EBL’s executive
director, Jaspal Singh Jass
highlighted the progress of
the bank which had recently
won ‘The NICCI Excellence
Award’ and ‘Bank of the Year
2006- Nepal.’ “ATM
installation at APEX College
is yet another pioneering
stride taken by the bank in
installing ATM at an
educational institution,” he
said.
